Webb and the Infrared

Video series about Webb and observing in the infrared.

This is a series of five informative videos which will introduce you to the James Webb Space Telescope and the why and the how of observing in the infrared. These also include some handy classroom demos with an infrared camera if you have one available to hand.

The videos are accessible to anyone but have been primarily designed for high school audiences. You can watch the first video right here on this page. Please follow the Vimeo link below to access the rest of the series for viewing (or downloading if desired). There is also a link to an accompanying teacher guide.

These videos, part of the JWST-UK campaign, have been created with the help of Sophie Allan at the National Space Centre in Leicester.
